Valerian (Valeriana dioscoridis Sm.) is a perennial herb of the Caprifoliaceae family. The aim this study was to determine variation V. plants grown in different regions respect quality criteria traits such as nutrient values, extract contents and vitro antioxidant antimicrobial activity values. In study, roots rhizomes Sm. were collected from eight locations Antalya province. obtained materials ground blender extracted with 80% ethanol. macro micro-nutrient elements powdered plant samples evaluated activities extracts investigated. Based on data obtained, there values antioxidant, activities, content chemical composition V.dioscoridis locations.
